"Lust" Enjoys Awards Stampede at Taiwan's Golden Horse |

HONG KONG – "Lust, Caution" dominated the Golden Horse Awards in Taiwan on Saturday night. In total it accumulated seven awards at a ceremony regarded as the Chinese-language Oscars. The pic's awards included best film, best director for helmer Ang Lee and best actor for male lead Tony Leung Chiu-wai. Best actress award was only one of a few major prizes to escape "Lust." It went instead to Joan Chen for her part in Tony Ayres' "The Home Song Stories." "Lust" star, Tang Wei was named best newcomer, a repeat of the prize she won Thursday night at the CineAsia convention.
