Established in 1957, Shanghai Animation Studio is the largest animation studio in China. With a history of more than 40 years, SAS has produced over 500 animated films and won more than 200 international and domestic awards. Its rich library includes such classics as Uproar in Heaven (da nao tian gong), Lotus Lantern (bao lian deng), and Nazha Conquers the Dragon King (Na zha nao hai).
