Chen is a veteran of the Internet technology industry in Silicon Valley, including Oracle, President and CEO of SilkRoad Software and Services, senior vice president and CIO of Citadon, Inc, and co-founder, senior vice president and CTO of Bidcom, where Chen was a key member of the executive team to lead several high profile acquisitions and IPO registration on NASDAQ. Chen is a frequent speaker and panelist at technology and industry conferences. He has frequently worked with major members of the technology management community of fortune 500 companies, serving on InfoWorld’s CTO Advisory Council and the board of the IAI (International Alliance of Interoperability) as well as the advisory boards of several technology companies. Bidcom, the Internet-based technology that Chen pioneered, received the Smithsonian Award and is now part of the permanent collection of Smithsonian Museum American History.
