Shanghai Film Studio Digital Media Co., Ltd. (SFS Digi-Media) was incorporated on November 12th, 2002 based on the digital special effect production division of Shanghai Film Group Corporation. It is one of the largest digital special effect companies in China.

SFS Digi-Media's shareholders include Shanghai Film Studio, Yangpu Xinjiuzhou Industrial Co., Ltd., Shanghai Media and Entertainment Investment Co., Ltd., Shanghai Oriental Broadcasting and Television Technology Company, and Shenzhen Venture Capital Co. Ltd.

Since its establishment as the digital effect production division in Shanghai Film Group Corporation, SFS Digi-Media has been providing digital vfx production services to many films, TV programs, game software, and commercials. The quality of its production and service has won good reputation in the field. SFS Digi-Media's subsidiary, Shanghai SFSDM Film & TV Productions, is also active in producing films and TV programs.
