 China's domestic box office hit all-time high in 2008. Chinese cinemas raked in 4.341 billion yuan (more than 600 million U.S. dollars) in box office revenue in 2008, according to the Film Bureau of the State Adminstration of Radio, Film, and Television (SARFT), an increase of 30% compared to the 2007 figure. Domestic box-office winners include Feng Xiaogang's If You Are the One (300 million yuan in box-office) and Chen Kaige's Forever Enthralled (aka Mei Lanfang; 200 million yuan). The number of feature films produced in 2008 reached 406. The total box office revenue of home-made feature films accounted for 60% of the yearly total. As more urban Chinese are accustomed to going to the cinema, 118 new cinemas with more than 570 new screens were added in 2008. Mainland China now has 1,545 professional cinemas with 4,097 screens in total.
